"I'm kinda curious about how many different classes everyone had to try out before they settled on the class that was 'the one'. I chose hunter before I even installed the game- and this was even back when hunters were still kinda crappy. It wasn't a tough decision for me at all, since I played Ragnarok Online before WoW, and I was a hunter in that game, too. I've also tried several other classes, but it just doesn't seem as though anything else really clicks with me. The only other class that I've really enjoyed playing was Warlock, but mostly because I use the hunterlock playstyle. Classes or toons. If toons, then about 9. If classes; I chose a nelf huntard, deleted that, tauren warrior and UD lock about the same time, troll hunter, then later a draenei hunter which is my current Alliance main(as I like to say). Horde. Eh, I'll get around to them again, hopefully I'll have a 70 of every class, if I play WOW for that long. I had a 60 hunter before I rolled my rogue, leveled him to 60, got into raiding, Naxx came out, got into that, then quit before I could get T3. I then rolled a spriest, leveled to 60, PvPed, TBC came out, leveled to 70, got my epic, quit for my hunter, leveled him to 70, quit for my rogue, and have had my rogue as my main ever since. The total time I've had other toons as mains is probably about an equal amount of time to when I've had my rogue as my main, maybe a bit less. "I've been very excited for the Darkmoon Faire and finally got a chance to check it out today. While I was there I noticed a high level (60+. ) Night Elf hunter, presumably doing Faire stuff. I figured, hey, the Faire's pretty much a neutral area, and she can't attack us anyway--just ignore her. It seems like not everyone shares my attitude of leaving folks alone if they're not bothering you--or at least the 3-4 level 10s that came along didn't. They started swearing and talking very rudely about the player in /say, I beleive a couple of emotes were used as well, and when I pointed out that the elf wasn't doing anything to bother them, the response was basically ""lolol u not reel hord i can pwnzorz u on lvl 70 main kk"", though perhaps I am exaggerating the poor quality of the typing. There was a weird level of real hate there, though, way more than just roleplaying--and since it's not an RP server, that's not a very good excuse either. Now, I don't like Alliance players, as a rule, and if they're causing trouble they do make me angry (though not as much as the Horde players who won't do anything about it). But I knew what I signed up for when I rolled on a PvP server, and I know we do plenty of things to Alliance, too. I feel that the least I can do is show basic respect to players of the other faction, until they do something rude, and hope that they will be courteous to me as well. On a more specific note,"just wondering if you think ganking (i roll horde on Barthilas) is getting out of control. i mean, i do expect to be spanked from time to time being on a pvp server, and it would be nice some fairer fights occaisonally.

Admittedly i have been questing my lowbie in one of the worst areas (hillsbrad), but you would think that a high level would have something more interesting to do than roam around lowbie areas pwning everything in sight. i dont go out of my way to gank (i have geared 70 toons on the server as well), i will go head to head with someone around the same level if the chance permitts, if i die, so be it, if i win, i dont try to corpse camp. wow powerleveling nothing worse having to do a spirit res over the other side of the map due to some idiot camping you for no reason. all this said, i guess ebay toons are excused because they have no idea about the game. i just think that it is out of control, and any level of decency that was left in the game is being vaccumned out of the pvp world. Hasn't seemed too bad for me lately, and I've even been slacking a ton on my typical gank-avoidance strategies: by letting myself get below 40% health frequently (troll rogue, so I like popping a good juicy berserk fairly often) and recklessly forsaking all stamina in favor of the highest DPS gear I can find. eve isk Granted this was only the last ~8 levels of my rogue that I've played recently, but still - I was an easy open kill for anyone with the inclination but not very many people went after me. The main thing to realize is that if you constantly spawn and feed the guy kills, you're entertaining him.
